Private Duty Nurse – Murfreesboro Case

Private Duty Home Care | Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Private Duty is seeking a compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality, one-on-one nursing care for a private duty client in Murfreesboro . This position offers a consistent assigned case in a home care environment and is ideal for nurses who value personalized care, accountability, and meaningful patient relationships.

This role is for LPNs who understand that private duty nursing is personal, impactful, and requires professionalism every shift.

Service Location

• Murfreesboro, TN (single assigned case)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct, one-on-one nursing care in the client's home
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, within scope of practice
• Monitor patient condition and promptly report changes to the care team
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
• Perform routine nursing tasks such as vital signs, wound care, and basic treatments
• Educate the client and family on care routines and health management
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive home environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment
• Private duty or home care experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and observational skills
• Excellent communication and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and follow a plan of care
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused
• Current CPR certification
